Sajid Ajmeri
General Counsel
Sajid Ajmeri serves as the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for ViaPath Technologies. In this role, he leads the legal team and is responsible for all legal matters across ViaPath – including the ViaPath Foundation and 2C Workforce Solutions. Ajmeri works closely with all business units, functions, and stakeholders to ensure that ViaPath operates with integrity, transparency, and compliance, and that the company’s interests are protected and advanced in a dynamic and competitive environment.
Ajmeri came to ViaPath from MiMedx Group, Inc where he was Deputy General Counsel managing all legal functions, including corporate, securities, M&A, commercial, litigation, IP, HR and regulatory issues including HIPAA, HITECH, federal Anti-Kickback Statute, and the federal False Claims Act, among others. Prior to that role, he was Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Intelsat where he managed M&A as well as securities (including the company’s IPO), financings, corporate governance, and NYSE compliance.
Ajmeri received his J.D. from New York University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Oxford University.
